THE WATER SYSTEMS CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAM

My Impact Project was to create an onramp to water-related careers by recruiting up to 10 young people from Lake City and the Duwamish Valley for a paid training opportunity to gain familiarity with the water system, water-related career opportunities, career skills, and hands-on GSI maintenance skills, while also providing participants with wraparound services and supporting graduates on the next steps of their career journeys.
After all, water is everywhere, and there are more jobs than we realize.
