Calling all LSC Alumni! Come help us welcome the 2025-26 Signature cohort at this happy hour event at Hotel Indigo’s bar/lounge area. The new students will be coming straight out of Day 1 of their retreat. Come buy a drink, meet new faces, and reconnect with alumni and board members. This event is free to attend.

Please join us on Friday, April 20th for STEP UP: Moving Racial Equity Forward at the Lynnwood Convention Center. We expect to welcome 600 participants or more, making it the largest annual racial equity event in the region.
This year, STEP UP: Moving Racial Equity Forward will welcome keynote speakers Ijeoma Oluo and Nate Bowling.
Ijeoma Oluo is a Seattle-based author, speaker, active feminist, and internet yeller. Oluo embodies a rare ability to be straightforward, funny, and effective in her coverage of sensitive and hyper-charged issues in America.
Nate Bowling is a teacher at Tacoma High School, was named 2016 Washington State Teacher of the Year, and is the co-founder of Teachers United. He is a veteran teacher trying to decipher the education policies and social politics that impact his students, his classroom, and his practice.
The day-long event will also include twelve breakout sessions.
