GetRidOfThat.com is an eco-conscious website designed to empower Snohomish County residents to responsibly dispose of items and provides simple, accurate answers for dealing with real-world clutter.
When people visit GetRidOfThat.com, local waste, recycling, and donation systems become easier to navigate. Municipal and nonprofit partners see increased engagement as people finally know where to take things. Communities gain a trusted, centralized resource instead of scattered conflicting information. More items are diverted from landfills through reuse, repair and donation pathways. Greater public awareness is achieved, and people feel more confident and empowered to make environmentally responsible decisions.
There is so much sustainability information available that searching for it can become overwhelming. As is true in most situations, when you give people clear, trustworthy guidance, they make better choices and are willing to take the extra step to do what they know can make a positive difference.
