Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

General Description: Reporting to the LSC Executive Director, the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator has overall responsibility for ensuring LSC programs and events utilize effective marketing strategies to provide equitable and sustainable leadership development. Remote work environment with one in person meeting each week. 

Duration: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 

Compensation: $45,000  

Social Media & Marketing Coordinator: Areas of responsibility include resource development, supporting the Recruitment, Events, and Alumni Committees, writing and producing all communications, website and social media content, directing all social media and other marketing activities, collaborating with the Program and Events Coordinator, and coordinating any Social Media, Marketing, and Data Analytics interns concerning project implementation and completion. 

·                  Communications and Marketing: Writes and edits LSC’s electronic communications including newsletters, promotional materials for events, and communications about LSC to the external public to raise awareness and visibility of the organization. Maintains and updates the LSC website including writing content and posting events to the site. 

·                  Social Media: Maintains LSC’s social media sites with ongoing updated content; monitors and drives traffic to LSC’s social media sites to promote alumni engagement. 

·                  Database: Responsible for LSC databases and their development, including updating participant and alumni directory entries, email addresses, etc. 

·                  Administrative: Work with the Executive Director to prepare meeting agendas and materials, takes minutes for LSC committee meetings. Corresponds regularly with LSC participants, board members, and committees about monthly forums, upcoming events and activities.
