Leadership For Racial Equity Program

program Overview

Welcome to the Leadership for Racial Equity (LFRE) Cohort Program, "Catalyzing Institutional Change," offered by Leadership Snohomish County. Our initiative is meticulously designed to empower leaders passionate about creating systemic change that promotes racial equity within their organizations and communities.

The transformative LFRE program unfolds over 4.5 months, immersing participants in a series of intensive sessions. These sessions are tailored to deepen awareness, develop critical skills, and equip participants with effective tools and practices. They're also geared towards building personal and institutional strategies for sustaining racial equity efforts, and fostering collaborative leadership. Beginning with a two-day intensive retreat, the program consists of monthly full-day sessions. Each gathering is a unique blend of enlightening lectures, hands-on workshops, reflective exercises, and networking opportunities.

As a participant, you will gain a deep, nuanced understanding of racial equity and tangible strategies to drive change within your organization.
