Leadership Snohomish County (LSC) is a nonprofit that connects, ignites and develops county-specific sustainable leaders to strengthen our communities. Each year, we help experienced and emerging leaders in Snohomish County gain an understanding of the critical issues affecting the region and the stewardship capabilities needed to resolve them. Through our nine-month Signature Program and Young Professionals Program, we work in small teams with the business, government and nonprofit sectors as Community Impact Project Partners. LSC features more than 700 alumni who remain strongly invested in Snohomish County.

The LSC Community Difference

  • Arts

  • Business

  • Education

  • Government

  • Healthcare

  • Human Services

Providing leadership development to our region's established and emerging leaders, each with their own bright energy and fresh perspectives, is a powerful long-term strategy for our community. Your continued generosity in donating time, talent and funding allows LSC to serve our region in a responsive and meaningful way.

Hear from LSC graduates

Graduates from our Signature and Young Professionals programs say the LSC experience made a profound difference in how they see themselves, and how they view their roles in the community:

LSC graduates discuss the difference the program made in their personal leadership development.

I've lived in Snohomish County my entire life, yet Leadership Snohomish County really opened my eyes to an amazing diversity of organizations and leaders who are making a real difference in our community. This program not only raises awareness of needs but also gives you practical tools and real-world experiences to become an effective force for change.
- Roland Behee, Community Transit

You are more powerful than you can imagine. You have more skills and capacity than you have ever discovered. But this program can help you do that.
