Community leadership requires community investment.
We invite you to support Leadership Snohomish County,
the local organization known for developing community leaders.
By investing in LSC, you're helping to secure a shared vision for the future – to develop and ignite leaders for a lifetime to ensure a vibrant community.
Our class members sharpen and refine leadership skills while working within the community context. LSC grads serve on school boards, non-profit boards, and in corporate boardrooms. They hold elected and appointed positions. Be it in human services, arts, education, business, government, environment, healthcare…our leaders are making a difference in the community.
Investing in our future means recognizing those who will shape it. We know that the leadership journey begins before reaching a senior position. Providing leadership development to our region's emerging leaders, who bring great energy and new perspectives, is a wise long-term strategy for the community. Recognizing this, capacity in our Young Professionals program was expanded, and enrollment grew by more than 40% in 2015.
Your generous donations of time and talent have built the foundation of LSC's reputation as the place to go for leadership development in Snohomish County. Because of you, LSC continues to serve the community in a responsive and meaningful way. Graduates say this experience makes a profound difference in how they see themselves, and how they view their role in the community. Click here if you'd like to listen to a few stories.
I've lived in Snohomish County my entire life, yet Leadership Snohomish County really opened my eyes to an amazing diversity of organizations and leaders who are making a real difference in our community. This program not only raises awareness of needs but also gives you practical tools and real-world experiences to become an effective force for change.
